Rooms clean and very spacious. Good breakfast.
One time at breakfast the waitress wanted to seat us right beside another couple at the same table which we didn't accept. Then she was quite angrily preparing another table for us. Parking space at the hotel is very limited.

Excellent, quiet rooms with beautiful scupltured gardens with a romantic medieval tower near the castle. Food was high quality with attentive service. Good proximity to Luxembourg City and nearby wineries and art exhibits.

Great Scenery and Comfortable Rooms!
Spent the New Year in this hotel and was pleased with the scenic beauty that surrounded the place. The hotel is situated in a location that overlooks a beautiful vineyard and is close to the river that added to the charm of the place. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable to stay in, with enough space for our luggage and belongings. The staff was helpful and welcoming throughout our stay that made for a pleasant time at the hotel.
The dining experience we had during our stay did not live up to our expectations. Though the food was satisfactory, it lacked the taste and presentation that one would expect.

We came with an open mind, found the room tiny, no space for a suitcase, no closet for clothes. The bed was "soft" and gave the impression of having hosted many heavy sleepers. The bar/library had a lasting bad smell. The restaurant was not designed to be part of a "chateau". The whole outfit showed lack of personal interest and is just - despite its name - a place to sleep for the average "passer by". We tried to get a better room but even "return customers" did not find any better reception.
The Hall had a bad smell. On arrival we were warned not to park the car on the hotel parking as a "event" would prevent us to leave. We asked for a reservation for 2 days later on a return trip but were surprised to be offered on the telephone a double the published internet price. We got a room in the "dependence": 2nd floor no lift, no space for suitcases. Stay away!

The hotel had a unique setting with great views, which made it a fantastic escape from the city. the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we needed directions or recommendations. the buffet breakfast had a large selection, which was great, and there was always someone available at the reception desk to answer our questions.
We found the hotel to be a bit overpriced, especially for its size. the room we stayed in was small, and we had to park outside next to the wall of the hotel.

This hotel is very and very comfortable. But the minus is the place, if you don't have a car you have a problem to get there. The mealisvwry tasty, the people is friendship. We were on February the price was not too expensive. I advice this hotel per 1-3 days or more if you want to be alone))

The beautiful setting, the garden and the river. The quiet.
I like my scrambled egg made with butter and no milk.
